During a night walk after coming from the market with my mom, on May 10th 2017, a little angel appeared to me. He was no older than 3 months and I thought it was a baby girl in the form of a cat. At that time, I was fascinated with Steven Universe, so I decided I'd addopt that little baby and name her Peridot. Little did I know that the love of my life was Jimmy.
He was a very healthy and scared boy, but slowly started to own the house and my heart. I've always wanted to have a pet of my own and he clearly had chosen me. It was love at first meow, and with time, it only grew stronger and stronger.
During most of my hardest times, he was the one who held me still and I knew I could live thanks to those long whiskers and beautiful eyes. Jimmy, James, Jameson, Jayjay... he has several nicknames and went from a kids hater to a sweetheart as time passed.

He also saw me fail several times in my tentatives of moving to Korea, even though I knew deep down inside I couldn't bring him with me. And when the time to say good bye came, part of my heart broke down and is still in Brasil with him.
Nowadays Jimmy lives a beautiful lazy life as an elderly cat, at my sister's house, sharing love with Biju and Mike, his partners for life. He's still playful and loves zooming around, but is much kinder and nice to visits, as well as with kids. Even though we're apart at the moment, he lives in my heart and will forever be loved and remembered, as I also tattooed him on my skin. He's absolutely the love of my life and I'll make anything possible to protect his little precious life.
